Historic hotel with 41 rooms
Former hotel De Vrijenberg is located in the forested area between Arnhem and Apeldoorn. This hotel has a long and rich history. In 2002, this iconic building was converted into housing accommodation that offers a warm, homely atmosphere for our personnel. The building features 41 rooms and can accommodate a maximum of 80 people. Given the size of the building, there is a caretaker who is permanently available as a point of contact or helping hand.
The bedrooms
De Vrijenberg has mostly double rooms and some rooms for three people. You’ll find plenty of sanitary facilities on every floor. Each room has its own kettle, fridge and sink.
The kitchen
The kitchen is on the ground floor and offers residents all the space they need to prepare their meals. Needless to say that the microwaves, ovens and freezers are free to use. Washing and drying machines are located in the room next to the kitchen. These are also free to use.
Facilities
De Vrijenberg features a number of recreational rooms you can use whenever you like. You can play table tennis, pool and darts, among other leisure activities. If you like, you can connect your PlayStation or other console in the room. There are also various options for you to exercise, such as a gym that is also free of charge.

The accommodation has a free and fast fibre-optics Wi-Fi connection.
