Technical operator for DP World Tilburg has 3 different department.
CFS & 2T
When you will work on CFS or 2T, you will do very specific tasks in manufacturing. By that meaning, you are able to work very precisely on electronic components, with ability to focus on processes with long cycle times, and as well is able to perform housekeeping tasks and bring new ideas on the table. Good knowledge of and experience with computer settings is a must and technical insight is required. Heavy boxes need to be lifted occasionally.
You need to read and understand the text, Good English level, Affinity with technical work, Self-steering, Responsible and Team player are important for those 2 departments. The team you will join, is a very small team.
Rack & stack
Cabling/ship preparation
You are responsible for the cabling of the servers (racks). This is a specific task in production where you, according to the customer's instructions, have to connect different types of cables between the electronic components. The work requires concentration and patience as it is a long cycle of work with one device. Later, you are responsible for cleaning the rack and preparing it for shipment.
Kitting/stacking
You are responsible for preparing the materials for building servers (racks). The work consists in unpacking electronic components with special care and assembly of individual components according to the work instructions. You must have the ability to read and understand the text.
